Albogues - Gaita de la Sierra de Madrid

Documented in the Madrid mountain villages (notably La Cabrera) by folklorist García Matos, this is considered the sole indigenous pastoral hornpipe of Madrid. Reconstructed in my workshop in two historical voicings (major scale in A and G) over an octave range, featuring a single cane reed and carved cow horn bell.
